I may have gotten caught up in the recent Masayoshi Takanaka fever going around recently. I really liked trying to line up a bass tab with the song to get the goblin's hands in the right place (I'm glad he doesn't have fingers, I don't have enough free time for that!). I modelled the guitar and glasses, and rigged the goblin model.

This was for my 3rd year uni team project, which I'm sorry to say I didn't see through to the end. There are multiple animations in this Sketchfab upload; to see them, you'll need to go fullscreen (f on keyboard), and toggle between them in the bottom left, and change the loop mode to "loop one". Looking at it now, there's a lot of areas to improve, but I think I've been able to give this chicken-sized dinosaur personality. I'm particularly pleased with the mouth chattering, which I got from observing birds!

Hey, this is 2D, not 3D! And it's clearly unfinished! I decided to put this here to show I understand the basics of lip syncing. Voice credit to the one and and only Jack Miller. Been really enjoying working with mixed frame rates. Though that said, now I can't unsee that Gromit puts the cigarette in his nose.

Bonus stuff (press the text with the little arrows!)Yeah, like that arrow! But the other ones!
Prototype catapults for Earthlight Drive (student game)

Below are some prototype cannon animations for some prototype cannon models. Most of this project was spent rigging the car to work inside Unreal engine. I'm quite pleased with my UI animations as well.

I'm mostly happy with the detail of the hose behaving pretty much as it should. If you imagine it to be a really stiff roam. Software used: Maya.

I'm proud of the secondary animation on the weight block under the catapult, though looking at it now, the block at the bottom should *really* flick when the arm shoots forward. Software used: Maya

Gosh, I love counterweights. I really like looking and a machine and thinking, where would this pivot? How do I make it chunky and clunky and satisfying? Software used: Maya
